Hello everyone, I used to play AQW around 2010 about 4 years and playing AQ3D for about 3 weeks. I am currently lvl 17 and gathered many of the cosmetics alongside with Scaleslayer and Bank sets for main items. While playing the game, since this is beta especially, was thinking what would be nice additions to the game and I came up with some ideas. Since reddit is the place where you can get the best player responses also is a platform getting interest from developers, this is the most appropriate place for sharing and getting feedbacks to my thoughts in my opinion. Inventory stack continuing with other slots:
e.g. the Stack Limit for Dragon Crest is 10 and we cannot collect more than that if we have 10 already. But it could be better if the stack could move on to other inventory slots, like, if we are at 25/50 inventory slots and 10 crests, it'd go on as 26th slot with 1 Dragon Crest.
Dragon Crest is not a quite good example since it's not much bothering but it is especially bad for items like Dark Glowing Skull or common-drop items like Dwarf Iron. Regional player limit shall have an additional party slot:
As many of you may have faced; you're farming Steelfang with friends in a party and you gotta go in order to craft/sell items for inventory space. After you've done, when you try to turn back to that region with /join or GoTo
, you get the message of the region is full. As a computer engineering student, I understand that is meant to keep session performance but here's my idea: e.g. if the person limit for a region session is 20, then it can be 19(+2)
which would redirect the newcomers to other sessions without much hassle and Party Member GoTos would take from that +2 slot so that it'd provide a window for party members protecting themselves against forced-seperation. Barber Shop zoom and rotation option:
I don't know if many people have used the barber shop, I did and it was a little frustrating in my experience. In shop, there is only a small part of top-body seeing with no zoom out option also we cannot rotate the character in there for hair models. There are some hair models which look quite alike but differs from back-view, also as players back-view is the part we see most of the time, I just had to pick model, pay 500 gold, then look at my character, don't like it, change model again, another 500 gold and so on
. So it would be nice if we could zoom in and out and rotate our character like in character creation section in the beginning. More easter eggs:
Like chest keys in DragonSlayer Camp, there could be some more easter eggs in the following releases. I still remember the first time I encountered a key...
More of that feeling would be nice <3 which would also encourage players to be more of explorers than farmers. EDIT: Firstly, LeSimple1's comment was also containing quite nice suggestions, especially class-specific stats were quite intriguing. Also after a while that I've had in my mind few more ideas and so decided to attach them with my previously stated: Enchantments:
Players who have played games like Metin2 or Jade Dynasty should know this system. Items weren't everything on their own and they should've been enchanted to be decent. But that system has always been pay2win as I've seen and I offer this as a play2win feature. For the ones who don't know: There is a Forge, may be Cysero, or maybe his apprentice as new character or someone else, lol
where we take our items and enchant them to become stronger with some item and gold cost (which may fail and cause items spent to enchant to be lost). Example below: lv.0 -> lv.1:
200 gold + 2 A1-item (100% chance of success). Gives 5% to all stats approx. lv.1 -> lv.2:
400 gold + 3 A1-item + 3 A2-item (100% chance of success). Gives another 5%. lv.2 -> lv.3:
777 gold + 3 B1-item (90% chance of success). Gives another 5%. ... lv.6 -> lv.7:
7000 gold + 7 C1-item + 7 C2-item + 1 D1-item (13% chance of success). Gives another 7%. Also weapon earns a glow effect. This should not be a recipe for all weapons and can be applied for weapon level and/or rarity. Those A1, A2 items etc. are drops from monsters and bosses or NPC-shop purchases/crafts suggested hypothetically. Server timeout:
This one's more for Artix itself; at the moment you can just keep afk for hours which may cause some players abuse crowded region bosses being slained constantly and farming with others' work Steel...ehm...fang...ehm...
but more importantly can cause server load/region crowd (which I mentioned above that hardnesses we face to meet friends in crowded regions) too so I believe there should be a timeout at least for 1 or 2 hours. More chat command emotes:
The game's chat command emotes are adding a very nice flavor and they are quite good themselves. But it could be nice if we also had /shrug, /lol, /jt, /lay or /sit Friend List Limit Increase:

. As title says it, I think as current, the limit may increase with level but it should be at least 50 or 70 in my opinion. Buyback Shop:
This one's also another suggestion I made previously here
and it was suggesting that there should be a Buyback Shop of all NPCs who have shops where we could purchase back our sold items for a few minutes
for the cost we sold (or with a little additional fee) and prevent rare/DC item losses may have caused by a mistake made for a moment.
So... These are the thoughts I have about possible improvements now and would like to hear your opinions on this or other ideas that I couldn't think of and since games are mostly taking community advices most easily in pre-release period, I think there should be more ideas -at least written/being mentioned- around this subreddit.
